Glen Miller – Director
Glen “Little M” was initially employed by his father, Malcolme “Big M” in the late 70’s as a mechanic. Glen’s passion for all things mechanical has remained with him his entire life, and he can often be seen eyeballing the latest offerings from Kenworth. As part owner of the Millers Transport Group, Glen has worked behind the scenes to ensure the business has remained a stable work and growing environment for all his employees, through strategically planning a future for the company. When Glen is not fuelling his passion for the latest truck, boat & car deals, he enjoys spending time with wife Belinda and young family, and working on his farm.
Suzanne Gilchrist – Director
Sue has been a part of the business for over 40 years, she been an integral part of Millers growth and success. Starting in 1972 she has hands on experience in many areas of the business including costing, reception and accounts. Sue, along with her brother Glen, is now part owner of the business. With a desire to keep up with best practice, Sue has completed multiple administration and business courses, valuable knowledge which she brings to her current role as Company Director. With 4 children and 14 grandchildren, Sue is equally passionate about family and the community as she is the business. Sue along with her two daughters was responsible for setting up the Aspendale Gardens Calisthenics club, to aid the local community and help families fight childhood obesity. Sue is passionate about family and friends and enjoys regular family holidays.
Clinton Gilchrist – Operations Manager
Clint has been involved with the business since he was knee high to a grass hopper, often
seen following his Grandfather Malcombe around the yard. While completing his schooling at Melbourne’s Haileybury College, he worked in his spare time in the family business. Clint now heads up the Operations department at Millers. He lists spending time with family, water skiing, watching football and cricket as his pastimes. As with all the Millers, he is a family man first and foremost and enjoys his home life with wife Kellie and his three children. Being personally touched by the tragedy of the Black Saturday bushfires, Clint responded by donating his expertise in transport to assist those who had been affected.
Dean Miller – Facilities Manager
Dean, aka Snowy, started with Millers Transport Group back in 1990 as a driver. His dedication to the business has seen him rise through the ranks to become an integral part of the Management Team. Completing numerous Leadership, Management and OH&S courses, Dean has recently successfully completed the course for maintenance of the operational and structural requirements of a Quarantine approved premises. Dean is responsible for Millers Warehousing, Fleet Management and Property Maintenance. He sites that other than the success of his 21 year marriage and his four children, his greatest achievement were the two premierships he won with Keysborough U18 and Mordialloc Super Rules team. He is actively involved with his local sporting organisations, and has been an energetic volunteer for the Salvation Army Red Shield.
